In the Global Peace Index, Türkiye ranks 137th out of 160 countries, significantly lower than Malaysia, which ranks 10th. In terms of crime statistics, the murder rate in Türkiye is 2.5 per 100,000 people, compared to Malaysia's low rate of 0.7. Regarding organized crime, Türkiye generally scores worse than Malaysia across several categories, including mafia presence, crime networks, and state crime.
