According to the Global Peace Index, Türkiye ranks 137th out of 160 countries, indicating a lower safety level compared to Bangladesh, which ranks 91st. In terms of crime statistics, the murder rates are relatively similar, with Bangladesh at 2.4 per 100,000 people and Türkiye at 2.5. However, Türkiye has a higher incidence of female murders at 1.0 per 100,000 people, while data for Bangladesh is not available. When examining organized crime, Türkiye scores worse in several categories, such as mafia groups (8.0), crime networks (7.5), and state crime (9.0), compared to Bangladesh's scores of 5.5, 5.5, and 7.0, respectively.
