Please answer the following question: How safe is Haiti for tourists coming from Belize?
Haiti's safety for tourists, including those from Belize, is a concern. The Global Peace Index ranks Haiti 141st out of 160 countries, indicating a high level of unrest. While Haiti's murder rate is lower than Belize's (13.0 vs. 31.2 per 100,000 people), other crime indices suggest significant challenges.
