Egypt is an appealing destination for many Lebanese visitors, thanks to its rich history and cultural significance. Despite recent fluctuations in tourism, it remains a key part of Egypt's economy and offers numerous opportunities for cultural exchange, attracting a segment of Lebanon's population of 6 million.
Egypt is generally considered safer for tourists compared to Lebanon, based on various safety indices. The Global Peace Index ranks Egypt 103rd out of 160 countries, while Lebanon is ranked 132nd.
