Zimbabwe offers a rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty, making it an appealing destination for some Indian travelers. While there has been a recent decline in foreign visitors, attractions like Victoria Falls and Great Zimbabwe highlight its diverse tourism options. Zimbabwe's safety for tourists from India is comparable to that of India itself. According to the Global Peace Index, Zimbabwe ranks 119th out of 160 countries, while India is ranked 114th. In terms of crime statistics, the murder rate in Zimbabwe is higher than in India, with 6.1 per 100,000 people compared to India's 2.9. However, the rate of female murders is lower in Zimbabwe at 1.9 compared to India's 2.5. Regarding organized crime, both countries have similar scores for mafia groups (3.5), but Zimbabwe scores higher in crime networks (7.5) and state crime (8.0) compared to India's scores of 6.0.
