Ukraine offers a rich cultural and historical experience, making it an appealing destination for international tourists. In recent years, it has seen a growing number of foreign visitors, positioning itself as a notable player in global tourism. This could attract a segment of Kuwait's population of 4 million.
Ukraine is currently considered less safe for tourists compared to Kuwait. According to the Global Peace Index, Ukraine ranks 156th out of 160 countries, while Kuwait is ranked 25th. In terms of murder rates, Kuwait has a significantly lower rate at 0.3 per 100,000 people, compared to Ukraine's 3.8. Female murder rates also reflect this trend, with Kuwait at 1.1 and Ukraine at 1.9. Additionally, the Global Organized Crime Index indicates higher levels of organized crime in Ukraine, with mafia groups rated at 6.0 and state crime at 8.0, compared to Kuwait's ratings of 1.0 and 6.0 respectively. Overall, while travel is possible, tourists from Kuwait should exercise caution and stay informed about the current situation in Ukraine.
