Serbia offers a diverse range of attractions and experiences, making it an appealing destination for some Ghanaians. Its unique geographic location at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe, combined with a rich cultural heritage, enhances its tourism appeal. While it may not attract the entire population of Ghana, it holds potential for a segment of the 33 million Ghanaians.
Serbia is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from Ghana. It ranks 13th among 40 European countries in terms of safety while walking alone at night. The Global Peace Index places Serbia 53rd out of 160 countries, making it comparable in safety to Ghana, which ranks 54th.
