Mongolia offers a unique blend of ancient traditions and stunning landscapes, making it an intriguing option for travelers seeking authentic experiences. While its tourism infrastructure is still developing, it has the potential to attract a segment of the 6.3 million Emiratis who travel abroad annually.
Mongolia is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from the United Arab Emirates. According to the Global Peace Index, Mongolia ranks 44th out of 160 countries, which is higher than the UAE's ranking of 52nd. However, it's important to note that Mongolia has a higher murder rate of 6.2 per 100,000 people compared to the UAE's 0.5. While organized crime exists in both countries, Mongolia has lower indices for mafia groups and human trafficking, indicating a relatively safer environment in those areas. Overall, while there are some safety concerns, tourists from the UAE can visit Mongolia with appropriate precautions.
