Morocco is a unique and appealing destination for some Peruvian travelers, thanks to its rich cultural heritage, historical cities, and stunning landscapes. With around 600,000 Peruvians traveling abroad annually, a portion may find Morocco an intriguing option for their travels.
Morocco is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from Peru. According to the Global Peace Index, Morocco ranks 76th out of 160 countries, which is better than Peru's ranking of 97th. In terms of crime statistics, Morocco has a significantly lower murder rate of 1.9 per 100,000 people compared to Peru's 5.7.
