Kazakhstan offers a unique blend of cultural and natural attractions that could appeal to a segment of Vietnam's 98 million population. Despite currently having a relatively low number of tourist arrivals, the country's diverse landscapes and rich heritage present significant potential for attracting visitors from Vietnam.
Kazakhstan is generally considered a relatively safe country for tourists, ranked 57th out of 160 countries in the Global Peace Index, compared to Vietnam's 41st position. However, it has a higher murder rate of 3.2 per 100,000 people, compared to Vietnam's 1.5. In terms of organized crime, Kazakhstan has lower scores in various categories on the Global Organized Crime Index, indicating a somewhat higher level of organized crime compared to Vietnam.
