Kuwait offers a unique blend of tourism experiences that may appeal to some Slovak visitors. While it attracts fewer foreign tourists than its neighbors, the country is known for high spending per visitor, indicating a preference for luxury experiences. With around 1 million Slovaks traveling abroad annually, there is potential interest in Kuwait as a destination for a segment of this population.
Kuwait is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from Slovakia. According to the Global Peace Index, Kuwait ranks 25th out of 160 countries, which is comparable to Slovakia's ranking of 27th. Although specific crime data for Kuwait is limited, the murder rate is significantly lower in Kuwait (0.3 per 100,000) compared to Slovakia (1.0 per 100,000). In terms of organized crime, Kuwait scores better than Slovakia in several areas, such as mafia groups and foreign crime, but it has higher indices for human trafficking and arms trafficking. Overall, while both countries have their challenges, Kuwait is considered relatively safe for tourists.
