Jordan is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from Peru. According to the Global Peace Index, Jordan ranks 65th out of 160 countries, which is significantly better than Peru's ranking of 97th. In terms of crime statistics, the murder rate in Jordan is notably low at 1.0 per 100,000 people, compared to Peru's 5.7.
