Georgia is generally considered safe for tourists, including those from Belarus. While Belarus ranks 38th out of 40 European countries for safety when walking alone at night, Georgia has a better standing in several safety metrics. According to the Global Peace Index, Georgia is ranked 98th out of 160 countries, compared to Belarus at 110th. In terms of crime statistics, Georgia has a lower murder rate at 1.9 per 100,000 people, compared to Belarus's 2.4. Additionally, Georgia scores better in the Global Organized Crime Index across various categories, indicating a lower prevalence of organized crime and violence. Overall, while no destination is without risk, Georgia presents a relatively safer environment for tourists compared to Belarus.
