Fiji is a captivating destination known for its stunning natural beauty and rich culture, making it appealing to travelers. With 1.2 million Nepalese traveling abroad annually, a portion may find Fiji an attractive option for their travels.
Fiji is generally considered safe for tourists, including those coming from Nepal. While Nepal ranks 78th on the Global Peace Index, there is no specific data for Fiji. The murder rates are similar, with Nepal at 2.1 and Fiji at 2.2 per 100,000 people. In terms of organized crime, Fiji has lower scores in several categories compared to Nepal, indicating a relatively safer environment. For example, Fiji scores 1.0 for mafia groups (compared to Nepal's 4.5) and 3.0 for state crime (compared to Nepal's 8.5). Overall, while both countries face challenges, Fiji appears to offer a safer experience for tourists.
