Finland offers a unique blend of stunning landscapes and rich culture, making it an appealing destination for some Bruneians. Although tourist arrivals have fluctuated recently, the country's natural beauty and cultural experiences continue to attract interest among a segment of the population.
Finland is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from Brunei. It ranks 8th among 40 European countries for safety while walking alone at night and 13th out of 160 countries in the Global Peace Index. In terms of crime statistics, Finland's murder rate is 1.6 per 100,000 people, compared to Brunei's lower rate of 0.5. However, Finland has a strong overall safety record, with lower indices for organized crime compared to Brunei in several categories. While there are some differences in crime rates and types, overall, tourists from Brunei can feel secure visiting Finland.
