Estonia presents a unique appeal for travelers from Thailand, showcasing its cultural and natural richness. With its medieval architecture in Tallinn and pristine countryside, it offers diverse attractions. Although it receives around 800,000 international visitors annually, there is potential interest among the 10.4 million Thais who travel abroad each year, making it a noteworthy option for some.
Estonia is generally considered a safe destination for tourists, including those from Thailand. It ranks 4th among 40 European countries for safety while walking alone at night. According to the Global Peace Index, Estonia is ranked 24th out of 160 countries, making it significantly safer than Thailand, which ranks 73rd. In terms of crime statistics, Estonia has a lower murder rate of 2.0 per 100,000 people compared to Thailand's 4.9.
