Brazil offers a rich array of cultural experiences and stunning natural landscapes, making it an appealing destination for some of Kuwait's 4 million residents. Its well-developed tourism infrastructure supports a variety of attractions, from famous beaches to the Amazon rainforest, catering to diverse interests.
Brazil presents certain safety concerns for tourists, especially when compared to Kuwait. According to the Global Peace Index, Brazil ranks 129th out of 160 countries, indicating a lower level of safety than Kuwait, which ranks 25th. The murder rate in Brazil is significantly higher, at 22.5 per 100,000 people, compared to Kuwait's rate of 0.3. Additionally, Brazil faces challenges with organized crime, scoring poorly in various categories such as mafia presence (Brazil: 7.5) and state crime (Brazil: 8.5), while Kuwait scores much better in these areas. Overall, while many tourists visit Brazil without incident, it is advisable for travelers from Kuwait to exercise caution and stay informed about local safety conditions.
