Brazil offers a rich array of vibrant cultures and stunning landscapes, making it an appealing destination for some of Guinea's 14 million residents. Its well-developed tourism infrastructure supports a variety of attractions, including famous beaches and the Amazon rainforest, enhancing its appeal for visitors.
Brazil's safety for tourists, including those from Guinea, presents some concerns. According to the Global Peace Index, Brazil ranks 129th out of 160 countries, while Guinea is ranked slightly better at 122nd. In terms of crime statistics, Brazil has a murder rate of 22.5 per 100,000 people, with female murders at 3.5. Unfortunately, comparable data for Guinea is not available. The Global Organized Crime Index indicates that Brazil faces significant challenges with organized crime, scoring 7.5 for mafia groups and 6.5 for crime networks, compared to Guinea's lower scores of 1.0 and 5.0, respectively. Overall, while Brazil offers rich cultural experiences, tourists should remain vigilant and informed about safety concerns, particularly in areas known for higher crime rates.
